Money is not support.

Support is embodied and emotional. It is relational. It requires relating to and understanding contexts, stories, and needs. It is heart stuff. It requires presence and connection.

Money is an enabler for participating in a human-created economic system. It is a tangible representation of value that facilitates exchange. It requires currency and a marketplace.

Support is the intrinsic need of every human on earth from birth to death. No Sapien no matter how big or long their hands, can go without support.

When money is unavailable, support fills the gap. But if support is unavailable, money cannot fill the gap.
