Innocence
A man who really wants an abortion, but the woman does not feels innocent around his reactions to getting her understand his desire to not have a baby.
A man who batters a woman in anger, and the woman has her natural reactions towards that, feels he is innocent.
What is innocence?
It is the part of us that is whole, unbroken, untarnished by our suboptimal choices. This part is there in everyone.
However, our actions are energy that have cerated or in many cases destroyed in the world. And being able to hold accountability of what our actions have impacted is not outside of innocence. In fact the ability to account for our destructive choices is what helps us truly connect with that intact part of us.
We are all innocent of history and also all very, very guilty of it.
