On Conversation

Yes, speaking,
and who gets to
and who does not
is relevant.

And listening,
articulated deeply,
and who can,
who cannot yet
is important.

But there is also silence
craving to erupt,
in between bouts of
talking and hearing
with the power to disrupt,
that is pertinent and wise
and poised with insight
and perhaps the
loudest in
its eloquence.
